ARIETIS - Gyro Unit

ARIETIS is an innovative 3-Axis Space Rad-Hard Gyro unit, used in the satellite AOCS to measure the rates of three orthogonal axes. It delivers cumulated angles to the OBC.

Main features

It is a medium accuracy gyroscope with very low noise over the entire bandwidth. It is intended to be used in space applications ranging from LEO for earth observation, MEO for navigation and GEO for telecom.

EREMS and INNALABS collaborated over the complete design and development of ARIETIS system. EREMS is in charge of the CV Board (PSB) and the FPGA.
