ACES - Power Distribution Unit

The Atomic Clock Ensemble in Space (ACES) is a payload involving two high-performance Clocks: PHARAO and SHM.

Main features

It will test a new generation of microgravity cold-atom clocks in Space.

In this ensemble, EREMS was in charge of the Power Distribution Unit (PDU) which delivers power supplies to all the equipment.

The PDU provides the power conversion, switching and protection functions necessary to interface the ACES payload with the APM power Distribution System for operation of ACES.
From the 120V ISS bus, it delivers 16 power Outlets of 28V, for a complete output Power of 750W.
