NSFEE - FRONT END ELECTRONICS

The satellite LSTM (for Land Surface Temperature Monitoring) is an Earth observation satellite developed by Airbus Defence & Space for the European Space Agency’s project Copernicus.

LSTM is a high resolution infrared radiometer designed to measure precisely and frequently the terrestrial temperature. The data collected will help to manage natural resources like water.

Main features

EREMS is involved in the LSTM project by furnishing the NIRSWIR (Near Infra-Red and Short Wave Infra-Red) Front End Electronics or NSFEE, for short. NSFEE unit implements all the functions for the detector to function properly.

To ensure its mission, the NSFEE equipment has a TeleMetry / TeleCommunication interface with the Instrument Control Unit.
